At Elaniin, we've long been supporters of women in tech. Every year, before 2024, we commemorated Women's Month with engaging activities designed to empower our female collaborators in their careers and personal lives. While these initiatives were positive steps towards fostering a more inclusive company culture, we yearned for a more sustainable way to demonstrate our unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion within the tech industry.
This yearning led to the creation of our "BoostHer Tech" workplace policy in 2024. This comprehensive policy transcends a single month of commemoration, impacting all areas that concern women in tech at Elaniin. From professional development to well-being programs, BoostHer Tech is designed to foster a supportive work environment that empowers women to thrive (you can learn more at woman.elaniin.com).
This blog post serves as the first of many progress reports, offering a transparent look at the advancements we've made in achieving the goals outlined in the BoostHer Tech policy.
Moving beyond commemoration: A policy-driven approach to culture at work
While annual commemorations of Women's Month were meaningful, we recognized the need for a more comprehensive and sustainable strategy. The BoostHer Tech policy was born from this realization, providing a structured framework for empowering women within our organization and the national tech landscape. This policy is divided into six key pillars that directly impact our company culture:
- Professional Development: Equipping women with the necessary skills to advance their careers.
- Opportunities: Creating equal opportunities for women at all levels, from entry-level to leadership.
- Events & Collaboration Spaces: Fostering a supportive and inclusive environment through events and dedicated spaces.
- External Communication: Amplifying the voices of women in tech and showcasing our commitment to diversity.
- Balance Between Personal and Work Life: Prioritizing the well-being of our female employees.
- Investment in Development in the Industry: Driving positive change in the tech industry as a whole.
Early wins and key metrics

Further actions and future goals
We've made significant strides in the first semester of our BoostHer Tech initiative, but we understand that this is just the beginning. Our commitment to empowering women in tech remains steadfast.
The next semester will see us deepen our focus on all six pillars of the BoostHer Tech policy. We'll be working diligently to expand upon the successes we've achieved while also addressing areas where we can improve.
While we had initially planned to dedicate resources to investments in the development of the tech industry as a whole, we made the strategic decision to prioritize internal initiatives during this first semester. This allowed us to build a strong foundation for our BoostHer Tech programs and ensure their effectiveness. We believe this focused approach will yield greater long-term impact and look forward to exploring industry-wide initiatives in future semesters.
We'll continue to share our progress transparently through regular updates, inviting feedback and suggestions from our employees and the broader community. Our goal is to create a lasting legacy of empowerment for women in tech at Elaniin and beyond.
We believe that by fostering a culture of inclusivity, support, and opportunity, we can empower women to reach their full potential at Elaniin and beyond.
